Hi Matt. Wondered if you'd thought of super large electrical firms who do large installations such as the Ideal Home Exhibition. These shows go on all over the UK (and abroad too). they would be bound to have qualified electricians who take assistant/trainee electricians. More than likely would be based in London but wouldn't necessarily mean working from there or living there. Why don't you try to find out (possibly through the job centre or a large employment agency if this is the case?
